Eligibility
Participant requirements:
- Age range: 5th - 9th grade
- Students must have a minimum of 2 years of string instrument instruction
- Students must have a recommendation from their music and classroom teachers (2 total)
- Students must be able to demonstrate financial need
- Students must reside in the metropolitan Baltimore area (except Schoelles/Harding/Greenberg scholarship recipients)
Cost
Each student will recieve a full scholarship which covers tuition and room & board. Upon acceptance, a $50 non-refundable deposit is due.
Camp Assistants
TCSA will be hiring 3 Camp Assistants for this summer's string academy. Applicants must be between the ages of 17 - 21, and have a minimum of 4 years of string instrument (violin, viola, cello, double bass) training. Selected applicants will receive free private lessons from highly-qualified instructors, a $500 stipend, and free room & board.
