Exchange Program
Students and faculty of the 2010 Thrive City String Academy
We are excited to announce that we will have a few (4-7) exchange students from the United States joining us for the String Boot Camp! A few extraordinary students from the Thrive City String Academy, an outreach music camp for low-income string students, will be traveling from Baltimore, Maryland to participate in the camp.
We need your help. In order to make this happen, we need assistance. Here's how you can help:
1. Sponsor a student. It costs $1,000 per student, which includes travel, camp fees, and expenses. To sponsor a student, visit the Thrive City String Academy Donation Page and make a $1,000 tax-deductible donation.
2. Make a tax-deductible donation to the Thrive City String Academy on behalf of the exchange program. Donations can be made online or by mail. To donate, click here.
3. Host one or more students in your home for the duration of the camp. If you would be interested in serving as a host family, please email John Littlejohn, camp director, at: jlittlej@thrivecitymusic.com (host families with children participating in the boot camp receive a 20% discount on their camp fees). Detailed information will be sent upon receipt of the email.
